However, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the Premier League side want at least €50m for the player they spent €30m on last summer.

The 23-year-old played 50 times for the London club this season, scoring twice and providing two assists, and was instrumental in the Gunners run to the Europa League Final, where they lost to local rivals Chelsea.

Meanwhile, Tuttosport also reports that the Rossoneri would offer a similar amount for Real Madrid’s Dani Ceballos, who is currently on international duty with the Spanish U21 squad in the European Championships.

If it’s a choice between the two at the same figures, then Giampaolo would prefer Torreira.
