The Gazzetta dello Sport report that Milan sporting director Ariedo Braida will negotiate his exit in the coming weeks.

Yesterday conflicting reports emerged surrounding the long-serving Rossonero delegate, with it rumoured by some outlets that he had resigned and by others that Milan had rejected that resignation.

The Gazzetta dello Sport understand that whilst Braida is travelling out with the squad for this weekend’s League test with Livorno, his days are numbered.

It is reported that Adriano Galliani’s No 2 will not be involved in transfer work for January’s window and that he will discuss in the coming weeks a ‘consensual resolution’ to his time at the club.

Braida’s 28 years of service to the club will apparently be ‘taken into account’ when settling his exit, which is believed to have been accelerated due to leaked reports of the Rossoneri’s intent to bring in Sean Sogliano as new sporting director from next summer.

In Braida’s absence and until Sogliano arrives, managing director Umberto Gandini will reportedly help Galliani in transfer dealings. Gandini has generally worked the foreign market for Il Diavolo.
