If Mattia Caldara doesn't recover from injury soon, Tuttosport reports Milan will make another attempt to sign Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren.
Caldara has hardly kicked a ball for the Rossoneri since signing from Juventus for €35m in the summer of 2018. He's suffered a plethora of injuries, including an achilles rupture and an ACL tear.
This has limited Caldara to making only two appearances for Milan.

Tuttosport are reporting that if the defender can't give guarantees concerning his physical well being, the club will look again to Lovren.
The Rossoneri tried to sign the Croatian defender in the summer, as did Roma, but ultimately he stayed at Anfield.
Lovren has been at Liverpool since 2014 and is now 30 years old, making just four competitive appearances this season.
