Milan will formally tell Napoli this week that they are starting negotiations with Pepe Reina, who will be a free agent in the summer.

The shot-stopper’s contract is due to expire in June and he has not agreed a new deal with the Partenopei.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Milan directors will inform Napoli of their intention to begin talks with Reina over the next few days.

The Rossoneri have already taken that step with Sampdoria and Ivan Strinic, whose contract is also running down.
