Milan finished second in Serie A and hope a place in the Champions League has convinced Gigio Donnarumma and Hakan Calhanoglu to stay.

The duo are on deals expiring on June 30 and the Rossoneri will re-enter negotiations to understand the intentions of the two players in the coming days.

Sky Sport Italia reports the Rossoneri can finally start planning for next season and work on the squad for 2021-22.

First of all, there’s Italy international Donnarumma, who Milan will try to convince until the end.

The broadcaster claims Milan will contact agent Mino Raiola to understand if something has changed after the club qualified for the European Cup.

But the Diavolo is not optimistic and has no intentions of improving the offer worth €7m a year plus bonuses.

The Champions League might not have changed anything and LOSC Lille goalkeeper Mike Maignan is still linked with a move to San Siro.

The same goes for Hakan Calhanoglu, who will re-enter talks with the club in the next few days, according to Sky Sport Italia.

The club has offered Calhanoglu a new deal worth €4m a season and reports have claimed the Turkey international has received a lucrative offer from Qatar for the next three years.
