Senegal international Fodé Ballo-Touré missed the two games against Togo and Congo due to a muscle problem and will be assessed upon his return to Milan.

Davide Calabria has already returned from international duty with an injury and now Ballo-Tourè is added to the list of concerns for Stefano Pioli.

The Rossoneri are first in Serie A but are preparing for a busy month ahead of the winter break, and the former Monaco defender is struggling with a muscle problem.

Ballo-Touré was forced to miss the 1-1 draw with Togo and then the 2-0 win over Congo in the World Cup Qualifiers this month.

The local media are reporting a serious strain, and Tuttosport reports he will be assessed by Milan’s medical staff when he returns to injury, to better understand the recovery times.

Ballo-Touré has appeared seven times in Serie A, starting four of them, since joining the club over the summer and has played twice in the Champions League.
