Milan’s slow start to the season has upset fans, but the Rossoneri have already sold all the away tickets for the September 22 derby against Inter.
Milan meet Inter in the first derby della Madonnina in 2024-25 later this month.
Lega Serie A confirmed that the match will be played on Sunday, September 22, at 20:45 CET.
The Stadio Meazza in San Siro will likely be sold out, and Gazzetta predicts that ticket revenue will hit a record €7m. Currently, the single-game record for ticket revenue in Serie A is €6.6m from Inter-Juventus in October 2019.
Gazzetta reports that Milan have already sold all 8,731 away tickets for the upcoming derby clash against Inter.
As always, Rossoneri fans will be located in the iconic Curva Sud at the Stadio Meazza.
Milan have had a poor start to the season with just two points in three matches, but Rossoneri fans continue supporting the team and hope to make their voices heard in the next derby, which is an away fixture on paper.
Milan lost the last six meetings with their city rivals, including the latest one in April, which allowed Inter to win their 20th Scudetto with five games to spare.
Sold out ? They must be masochists!
