Milan are the biggest spenders in Serie A so far, having already invested almost €60m in new signings.

The Rossoneri have just announced the signing of Olivier Giroud from Chelsea for a reported €1m fee plus €1m in bonuses.

The 34-year-old has signed a two-year deal with the Rossoneri.

Official: Giroud joins Milan

Giroud has joined the Serie A giants, following the likes of Mike Maignan and Fikayo Tomori.

Maignan moved to San Siro on a €16m deal from Lille to replace Gigio Donnarumma, while Tomori completed a permanent €28m switch from Chelsea.

The English centre-back had spent six months on loan at Milan in 2020-21.

The Rossoneri have also made Sandro Tonali’s move permanent for €7m plus €3m add-ons, while Brahim Diaz has returned to the club on a two-year loan worth €3m, but paid over two years.

Ballo-Touré’s Milan medicals cancelled

Therefore, Milan have already invested €53.5m plus €4m add-ons, but the tally will reach €57.5m plus €4.5m bonuses once Fodé Ballo-Touré completes a €4.5m move from Monaco.

The 23-year-old was expected to undergo his medicals with the Diavoli this morning, but the two clubs still need to sort out some details of their agreement.
