Milan are reportedly plotting a move to bring the prolific Stuttgart striker Serhou Guirassy to San Siro in the January transfer window.

The Guinean forward has been in immense form in front of goal in the first half of the Bundesliga season, finding the net on 16 occasions from just 11 appearances in the league.

At the time of writing, he is averaging 1.83 goals per 90 minutes in the Bundesliga, and is just two shy of European Golden Boot candidate  and England captain Harry Kane, who has 18 goals from 12 matches with Bayern Munich.

Guirassy also has a release clause written into his contract to the value of €17m, which is set to become active in January.

As he is playing so well in the Bundesliga this season, Calciomercato.com suggests that Guirassy is keen to stay on with Stuttgart until the end of the season. However, at 27 years of age, and with plenty of interest across Europe, January may be the ideal time to secure a ‘big’ move.

Milan are certainly not the only interested team, as recent reports have suggested that Roma, as well as Premier League sides Newcastle and Manchester United have all enquired.

However, Milan are in need of attacking reinforcements, and are still in need of a longer-term alternative to current no.9 Olivier Giroud.

Calciomercato believes that Milan are pushing for Guirassy and that the January transfer window is the target.
