TMW reports Rossoneri general manager Leonardo has turned his attentions to the German attacking midfielder after accepting that a move for Lazio’s Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is ‘impossible’ at this stage.
The Italian sports website claims the Diavolo are exploring the possibility of an initial loan move for the 24-year-old, with the option to sign him outright next summer.

And in return, they could be prepared to allow Switerland international Rodriguez to move in the opposite direction.
French champions PSG are known to be in the hunt for a new left-back, having recently sold Yuri Berchiche to Athetic Bilbao.
Rodriguez, also the subject of interest from Premier League side Arsenal, has only been at Milan for one season and is not thought to want to leave San Siro.
