Milan are intensifying their attempts to sign Fenerbahce talent Arda Guler, especially after he scored a sensational goal for Turkey against Wales this evening.

The creative midfielder is only 18 years old and this was his first senior goal for his country at the fourth appearance.

His contract runs to June 2025, but there is a release clause set at €17.5m, making him an extremely appetising option on the transfer market for several clubs.

Napoli have also been linked, along with Arsenal, Manchester United and others.

New Milan transfer strategists Geoffrey Moncada and Giorgio Furlani are determined to bring Arda Guler to San Siro and can promise him regular first team football in the Champions League.

However, Fenerbahce are trying to discuss a new contract with the teenager’s entourage that would significantly increase the release clause.

According to Calciomercato.com, Milan have been working on this particular player for some time and that could give them an advantage in the bidding war.
