Milan director Leonardo has reportedly met with San Paulo to discuss signing Rodrigo Caio, either for €8m or on loan with obligation to buy for €13m.
According to Sport Mediaset, negotiations are in full swing and there are different options on the table.
If the Rossoneri were to purchase the defender outright, the cost would be around €7-8m.
However, if they wanted to take him on loan with an obligation to buy at a later date, it would be far more expensive at €12-13m.

Leonardo is expected to meet with Rodrigo Caio’s agent next week to discuss personal terms.
It would be a move in January, because Mateo Musacchio and Mattia Caldara are both out for some time with injuries.
Rodrigo Caio has four senior caps for Brazil and the 25-year-old centre-back has been repeatedly linked with moves to Serie A, with interest from Lazio and Napoli in recent years.
