Milan are meeting with Platense this evening to finalise the capture of defender Marco Pellegrino, while Lorenzo Colombo looks set for a loan at Monza and Fiorentina’s Luka Jovic is rejected.
The Rossoneri are still hard at work on the transfer market and aim to bring in centre-back Pellegrino from Argentina.
As expected, Platense President Sebastian Ordonez has arrived in Italy and is meeting with the club representatives tonight to whittle down the details for the 21-year-old.
It is likely to be a sale for circa €5-6m plus a percentage of the sell-on fee, as Pellegrino’s contract only runs to December 2024.
The other issue being discussed at Milan headquarters today was that of the striker, as agent Beppe Riso spent almost two hours at the building this afternoon.
He is the representative of Mattia Caldara and above all Colombo, who is now expected to sign a new contract with Milan so that he can go out on another loan experience.
The favourites are Monza, although there is also interest from Genoa, Cagliari and Udinese.
Meanwhile, Tuttomercatoweb reported that Fiorentina and agent Fali Ramadani had offered Jovic to Milan, but they are not particularly interested in the Serbian.
