Milan were beaten 1-0 by Tottenham Hostpur last night as they continued their pre-season tour of the United States.

Despite having 16 shots compared to the London club’s five, a goal early in the second half by Georges-Kevin N’Koudou was enough to consign the Rossoneri to defeat.

It means Gennaro Gattuso’s men have lost both of their International Champions Cup matches so far, having been beaten 9-8 on penalties by Manchester United last Thursday following a 1-1 draw.

The Diavolo made six substitutions during the course of the friendly, with Gigio Donnarumma not featuring and Pepe Reina starting in goal.

Nikola Kalinic was also involved for the first time in pre-season, despite the Croatian forward having fallen out with Gattuso during the last campaign and being linked with a move away from San Siro.

The third and final match of Milan’s time in the States comes in the early hours of Sunday morning, when they face Spanish giants Barcelona in California.
