Milan are negotiating with Turkish clubs for sales, but Fenerbahce need to raise their Luka Jovic offer, while Fode Ballo-Toure turns down Besiktas and Anderlecht ask after Jan-Carlo Simic.

The Rossoneri are revamping the squad under new coach Paulo Fonseca and quite a few players are not part of his plans for the future.

Ballo-Toure returned from a loan spell at Fulham and was re-routed from the senior squad to the new Milan Futuro team, that will play in Serie C.

This was just a way of pushing him out of the club, but it doesn’t seem to be working, as Fabrizio Romano claims that while the club agreed a sale to Besiktas, the player has blocked the move.

Ballo-Toure would prefer to wait and hope for a return to England, with Watford the most likely candidates at the moment.

Milan selection of players for sale

On the other hand, when it comes to Jovic, Fenerbahce have made a proposal that is considered to be insufficient for Milan, according to Sportitalia.

Jovic recently signed a new one-year contract, though he is expected to be pushed out if they manage to find another centre-forward.

Alvaro Morata is having his medical tomorrow and will join for the €13m release clause in his Atletico Madrid contract.

This leaves money left in the budget to purchase another striker, with options including Tammy Abraham of Roma and German international Niclas Füllkrug.

In other news, transfer expert Matteo Moretto warns that RSC Anderlecht have made an approach for Milan defender Simic, whose contract is due to expire in June 2025.

2 thought on “Milan struggle with Ballo-Toure, Jovic and Simic issues”
  1. I don’t understand Milan’s strategy, not even a consideration of using some of its Italian youth. This may not end well for them this year.

  2. Simic is one of the most promising young defenders in Italy. Why Milan want to get rid of him, God only knows. Their transfer strategy is unfathomable.
