Milan sensation Francesco Camarda has made history as the youngest ever player in Serie A, aged 15 years and 260 days.
The striker came off the bench for the final 10 minutes of this evening’s match against Fiorentina at San Siro.
Born and raised in Milan, he was already playing and scoring goals at the Primavera level for the Rossoneri, with and against figures at least two years older than him.
He found the net seven times in 13 games for the Milan Primavera squad this season, including three in as many UEFA Youth League fixtures.
Camarda was born on March 10, 2008.
The previous record belonged to Bologna’s Wisdom Amey, who came on against Genoa on May 21, 2022 at the age of 15 years and 274 days.
Only four days older on his debut was Genoa striker Pietro Pellegri when coming on against Torino.
The youngest Serie A debutant for Milan had until now been Gianluigi Donnarumma, who was 16 years and eight months old when chosen to start against Sassuolo at San Siro in October 2015.
