Milan striker Rafael Leao starts on the bench against Uruguay.

It’s the last match of the day in Qatar, the second of Group H for Portugal and Uruguay and it kicks off at 20.00 GMT.

Leao scored with his first touch after being introduced in the second half of Portugal’s 3-2 win over Ghana on Thursday and coach Fernando Santos has once again picked Joao Felix in place of the Milan striker who starts on the bench tonight.

Leao has only started three games for Portugal, making 12 appearances with his national team. He’s never played an international match from start to finish since making his debut in October 2021.

He has seven goals and nine assists in 20 appearances at a club level this term and his contract with Milan expires in June 2024.
