According to reports in Italy, Wolverhampton are considering a bid for Milan striker Rafael Leao who could leave for an offer exceeding €25m.

Leao joined the Rossoneri in a €28m move from Lille in the summer of 2019.

According to Calciomercato.com, the 22-year-old is not for sale but is not ‘untouchable’ either.

Scorer of 13 goals in 73 appearances in his two-year spell with the Rossoneri, Leao has been targeted by Wolverhampton who are considering an offer to bring him to the Premier League.

The player’s agent Jorge Mendes has influence over Wolves’ transfer strategies and the Premier League side could make an opening bid in the coming weeks.

Borussia Dortmund are also monitoring the 22-year-old, but Milan are only open to selling the Portuguese starlet for an offer exceeding €25m.

The Rossoneri are the biggest spenders in Serie A so far, having already invested €60m in new signings in the summer transfer window.

However, they saw Gigio Donnarumma and Hakan Calhanoglu leave the club as free agents after their contracts expired on June 30.
