Milan are scheduled to meet with Villarreal on Wednesday to discuss the potential transfers of attackers Arnaut Danjuma and Samuel Chukwueze according to reports from Calciomercato on Tuesday evening.

Despite the recent acquisition of Christian Pulisic from Chelsea, the Rossoneri are still keen on bringing in more attacking reinforcements and Villarreal appear to have two players on their books that Milan are hoping to bring in.

The first is Danjuma, who, according to Calciomercato, has been closely tracked by Milan since his time playing for Club Brugge between 2018-19.

The Dutch international has experience in the Premier League and Championship from his time at Bournemouth, as well as one-and-a-half year’s worth of playing time in LaLiga with Villarreal. He spent the second half of the 2022-23 campaign on loan with Tottenham.

As per Calciomercato’s report, Villarreal are prepared to let Danjuma leave on loan again, although they will request a fee of €4m for the season. Milan’s directors are reportedly hopeful of being able to lower that figure.

Chukwueze is another who is of interest to the decision makers at San Siro, however, his acquisition may prove to be a little more complicated than his teammate’s.

The Nigerian is valued at around €35m by the Yellow Submarine and Milan would again need to negotiate for a reduction on that price.

On Wednesday, Milan’s representatives will meet with their Spanish counterparts to discuss the best course of action for the potential pair of deals.
