Reports from Germany claim Milan have drawn up an offer for RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko, who is also wanted by Arsenal.
The Rossoneri are clearly on the hunt for a new striker in the coming summer transfer window, having failed to pick up a long-term replacement for Olivier Giroud last year. Luka Jovic and Noah Okafor have provided some cover, but it’s clear that investment is needed.
Milan were fairly quiet in the January transfer window, only signing Filippo Terracciano from Hellas Verona and sending out some unneeded players on loan including Rade Krunic, Luka Romero and Chaka Traore.
As revealed by Bild’s Head of Football Christian Falk via Caught Offside, Milan have prepared a €40m offer for Sesko, hoping to beat Arsenal to the RB Leipzig striker.
The 20-year-old Slovenian striker, who is contracted to the Bundesliga side until June 2028, has a €50m release clause in his contract.
This season, Sesko has scored eight goals in 25 appearances across all competitions for RB Leipzig.
