Milan have improved their proposal to Chelsea for Christian Pulisic, with bonuses reaching €22m, confident the USMNT striker only wants them.

The Rossoneri had seen their initial bid of €14m plus add-ons rejected, as the Stamford Bridge side want at least €25m to part with Pulisic.

According to The Athletic, MilanNews.it, Tuttomercatoweb and more, Milan sent in their second offer this morning and it was a definite improvement.

Including bonuses, it will reach a total of €22m, so is not too far off the asking price.

Milan have a significant advantage in that Pulisic has made it clear he only wants to join them, rejected Olympique Lyonnais even when they had appeared to out-bid them with a €25m fee and percentage of any future sale.

The 24-year-old only has a year left on his Chelsea contract, so that too works in the Rossoneri’s favour.

Pulisic was purchased from Borussia Dortmund in January 2019 for €64m, but scored only 26 goals with 21 assists in 145 competitive games for Chelsea.
