According to multiple reports in Italy, Milan scouted Parma starlet Adrian Bernabè during Monday’s Serie B game against Brescia.

The Spanish starlet is one of the most exciting prospects in Serie B. The 20-year-old is not a regular starter at the Stadio Tardini but has scored five goals in 13 appearances with the Ducali this term.

Calciomercato.com reports that Milan’s chief scout Geoffrey Moncada was in Brescia on Monday night to scout the product of Barcelona academy. A versatile attacking midfielder, Bernabè can also play as a left winger.

According to Tuttosport newspaper, the Rossoneri are ready to offer up to €10m to secure his services. If they manage to reach an agreement with Parma, the player could remain on loan at the Stadio Tardini for one more season.

Milan used a similar formula to sign Yacine Adli from Girondins de Bordeaux a year ago. The Frenchman has remained on loan at his club for one season and will move to Milan next summer.

  1. Maldini crazy over under par foreign players again, ive no respect for him anymore, never thought i would say that ever what about colombo, zerbin, and all the young italians doing well in serie a, nah these men in charge are pathetic, wake up. Greatest defender ive ever seen but in his current role he is clueless, the only good deal in recent times was the Tonali deal

  2. @ Gattuso’s SON

You are one ungrateful fan. Maldini may have made some mistakes, but for the most part he kick started the Milan rejuvenation after a decade in the slums of European football, something many before him tried and failed. At this point it doesn’t really matter if he did it with Italian or non-Italian talent, though we all prefer some Italians in the team, and I’m sure he does too. This is just not the time.

    Show some respect.

  3. @Milan Fan No I won’t show him respect, he is just thinking about his own pocket, maldini is an intelligent man but why buy messias,Diaz, ballo toure, Sell our young striker in cutrone who was actually doing well for us only for us to sign Ibra who was old then already, we are strong contenders to win serie a but let’s be brutally honest the quality of serie a is terrible at the moment, look how crap we were in europe, Maldini was quite happy to bin off cutrone who was good and hasn’t found the confidence since, He has got rid of so many of our young players, Ungrateful? No captain, just say it as it is, Sit down and accept where we are

  4. @Gatuso’s son

Even Gatuso will disown you if you were truly his son for those ungrateful, biased, insensitive ans senseless statements you just made about Maldini.

How many British players are at City, Liverpool?… How many Spanish players are at Madrid??

It’s not about nationality, it’s about result. You need some mentality readjustments to be in tune with modern day reality.

  5. Keep being a bum lick just because it’s maldini, not even he will escape critisism, I don’t care what the Premier league clubs do I care about our footballing future these fans on here having a boner over maldini and his “great results” just because he is paolo maldini is hilarious hahaha, as I said before idiots he was a legend on the pitch but his recruitment for this team other than Tonali and a few others has been dreadful especially in attack, we haven’t looked good up front for ages, all this “Oh you can’t say that about maldini” get a grip it’s the truth, Weak idiots

  6. Hahaa ooohhh James tough English fan hahahahahha, listen fella if I want to criticise maldini for his recruitment i will, I don’t care what his name is, loved him as a player but look at his recruitment for milan it’s been more bad than good, I don’t care at all what the Premier league does, they needed foreign players to win when the Italian clubs were successful they were made up of mainly Italian players. There is a reason england win nothing, our clubs don’t have the money the PL does but spend it on crap and hope we win… Maldini hasn’t recruited properly and that’s simple. I judge him on what he is doing NOW Idiots

  7. I understand that we must pay attention to getting more Italian players, but not just for the sake of it. If an Italian player is good enough to wear the shirt then fine with me. But if they are crap, what is the point of making a symbolic gesture. We just need the best players possible that is going to honour the shirt, work hard and who can deliver.

  8. Top of the league and finished 2nd last year… even if they finish 2nd again this year I think Maldini is doing alright, seriously get a grip

  9. @Gattuso’s son:
As much as I love Cutrone and was disappointed at his sale; With all due respect, what has he done after he left us though? We sold him for 30M, which is quite at the peak of his value. Would you buy him back at that price? or even half his price right now???

We also sold Hauge and I think many of us weren’t pleased as well, but so far it has also been justified, also allowing Leao to blossom a bit. So I think Maldini is capable of judging’s player’s potential. Most of Maldini’s purchase were also a hit, of course some exceptions are always there. So, I think Maldini has done exceptionally well and unsure how you could come to the conclusion that he hasn’t been recruiting well? Care to elaborate?

  10. If Maldini was a 20 year old today in 2022 he would be in Serie B, and wouldn’t be given a chance. i have no respect for these Italian coaches or directors like him who give italian youth no chance. They are hypocrites and turned their back on the nation.

  11. @ Milanista

How has your club been since Pirlo, Gatusso, Nesta all left or retired…its been downhill. Italian clubs will never win CL titles again unless they start investing in a strong homegrown italian core along with quality foreigners like the 90s and 2000s.

Serie A does not have the money to compete with EPL top clubs. All top foreign talent in Italy will be sold to bigger clubs abroad, italians actually want to play for these big clubs in Italy.

Italian Football and Serie A is so backwards these days, No Italian club will win Champions League this decade
