Milan have scheduled a meeting with Rafael Leao’s agent as they look to extend his contract.

The 22-year-old Portuguese winger has been one of the stars in Stefano Pioli’s squad this season and the player is becoming a real reference point for his teammates, with the his growth over the last six months clear.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, offers from England and Germany have already arrived for Leao but Milan have no intention of losing the winger, so they have scheduled a meeting with his agent Jorge Mendes to discuss a contract renewal.

Leao’s current deal expires in 2024 but the Rossoneri are hoping to extend this to 2026. The club are open to raising his salary to almost €4m net per season and things could progress quickly as this month develops.

The 22-year-old Portuguese winger has scored five goals and provided three assists in 19 appearances this season and Milan are waiting for his return to the pitch with open arms.
