President Silvio Berlusconi has been in talks to sell the club for some time, with a consortium led by Sonny Wu attempting a takeover.

However, Marco Bellinazzo, journalist for Il Sole 24 Ore reports that the exclusivity agreement has expired with no deal being done.

Members of the consortium are said to have pulled-out of buying the Rossoneri, putting the deal at risk.
