Allan Saint-Maximin’s agent admits a move to Milan is ‘almost impossible’, but they could go for Paris Saint-Germain’s Christopher Nkunku.

Saint-Maximin had been linked with a deadline-day switch to Milan, but his agent is pessimistic about the prospect of a transfer, despite his client wanting to join.

“Right now it’s almost impossible because there’s little time and Nice need an attacker to replace him,” Marco Kirdemir told Sport Mediaset.

“In June, however, a deal could be possible because Allan likes the destination.”

Tuttosport and Milan News, meanwhile, write the Rossoneri are ‘following Nkunku closely’.

The 21-year-old is a France Under-21 international but has struggled to hold down a place in PSG’s midfield this season.

The publications believe he can leave for €10-15m and Diavolo sporting director Leonardo has received ‘excellent reports’ on the player.
