Milan and Roma are discussing a swap deal involving Alexis Saelemaekers and Tammy Abraham but are also fighting for the same target in midfield as, according to Sky Sport Italia, they are ready to pay €15m for Manu Koné of Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Both Roma and Milan want to sign Borussia Mönchengladbach midfielder Koné and have informed the Bundesliga side that they are ready to pay €15m to complete the transfer.

Sky: Milan and Roma ready to pay €15m for Koné

Sky Sport’s transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio claims that both Serie A giants have already informed Gladbach about their plans, but the Bundesliga side’s asking price is slightly higher as they must pay commissions to Koné’s agent and the midfielder’s former club Toulouse.

According to the report, Milan are expected to make contact with Koné’s agent today.

The Rossoneri have already sent Yacine Adli to Fiorentina on a loan deal with an option to buy and are waiting for Saudi offers for Ismael Bennacer, who hasn’t trained with the team for the last three days.

On the other hand, Roma may finance Koné’s signing through Edoardo Bove, who has received an offer from Nottingham Forest.
