Milan risk losing out on another transfer target, as La Gazzetta dello Sport claim Zenit are offering €25m for CSKA Moscow creative midfielder Nikola Vlasic.

The Rossoneri are already smarting after Juventus dived in to get Santos striker Kaio Jorge to sign a pre-contract agreement, despite the San Siro side feeling confident they had agreed personal terms.

Now they could also miss out on Vlasic, as La Gazzetta dello Sport suggest Zenit St Petersburg have offered €25m, very close to the €30m asking price.

It is certainly not what CSKA Moscow want to do, as there is a bitter rivalry between the two Russian clubs and their fans will be furious if Vlasic goes to Zenit.

However, Milan continue to only offer a loan with option to buy deal, refusing to commit to the purchase.

Vlasic would prefer the Rossoneri and Serie A football, as the 23-year-old has been in Russia since 2018 after leaving Everton.
