Milan have reportedly revived their interest in Real Madrid striker and Ante Rebic’s former Eintracht Frankfurt teammate Luka Jovic.

Jovic was one of the players who came up for discussion during talks between Madrid and Milan last summer.

Now, Calciomercato.com claims the Serb has been lined up by Rossoneri officials as a potential replacement for Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The website explains Elliott Management like the 22-year-old for his ‘age and performance’ and that Los Blancos are keen to bring in another forward.

Although the Spanish giants splashed out €60m on Jovic last summer, a loan deal with a buyback option is being mooted, providing he takes a drop on his €5m net salary.

Jovic played his best football alongside Rebic for Eintracht, scoring 36 goals in two seasons.
