Seven points from the last nine available have relieved some of the pressure on Coach Clarence Seedorf, though the team do still lie in the bottom half of Serie A.

“We are working well,” Amelia said to the Milan Channel. “In the last ten days we have been playing as Milan should be.

“We must continue like this. In my career I have had good times and bad times, so I know how to react.

“Had we played like we have been from an earlier stage we would have been able to fight for other things. But we are where we are now.”
