Samu Castillejo is no closer to leaving Milan, as multiple sources suggest Getafe only want the winger on loan, a far cry from the €8m asking price.
The Spaniard has been linked with a return to his home country for Getafe, with Diario AS suggesting the player had agreed personal terms.
That would’ve been a big development, as so far Castillejo has turned down all other options put to him, including Sevilla, Valencia, Celta Vigo and Real Betis.
However, Calciomercato.com and Radio Rossonera both state that Getafe are only prepared to take Castillejo on loan.
That is out of the question for Milan, who are asking for at least €8m on a permanent transfer.
He cost €21.3m to sign from Villarreal in 2018, but failed to make an impact with just 10 goals and 13 assists in 108 official matches for the club.
The 26-year-old is only under contract until June 2023 and Milan need a sale to prevent the risk of making a loss.
