Milan are feeling ambitious after their progression to the Champions League knock-out stages and have reportedly reignited their interest in Chelsea’s Hakim Ziyech.

The Rossoneri were interested in picking up the 29-year-old Moroccan winger in the summer transfer window but ultimately turned their focus to Belgian talent Charles De Ketelaere, who was signed from Club Brugge. Ziyech is still struggling for regular playing time in West London, having made his last Premier League start back in August.

As reported by Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, Ziyech is keen on the idea of joining Milan and his entourage has expressed this to directors Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara in recent days.

The current idea is a loan deal with a buy option attached and Milan are seriously considering the operation, although no final decision has been made.

The Rossoneri are hoping to pick up a couple high-level players in January as they fight with Napoli for the Scudetto, but only if they’ll fit Stefano Pioli’s system in the Lombardy capital.

  1. I thought he was the man for us in the summer, but now I guess it’s better to wait and sign Asensio on a free transfer in the summer. His wage demands would probably cause a problem though.

Both Ziyech and Asensio are upgrades to what we have on the right-wing anyway.

  2. We should aim higher. Christopher Nkunku scores lots of goals . Not sure if he plays on the right wing. Maybe If Leao doesn’t renew we could sell him and put in a bid for Nkunku.
