Milan will sign Nikola Kalinic outright, after his appearance against Crotone triggered an obligation to buy from Fiorentina.
The Rossoneri signed the Croatian striker on loan from the Viola in the summer, with an obligation to buy for €20m after his first appearance in 2018.
That was triggered in the 1-0 win over Crotone on January 6, with the fee to be paid in three instalments.
However, Kalinic’s long term future at San Siro is far from assured, as he hasn’t scored since December 3 and is currently struggling with a thigh injury.

Coach Gennaro Gattuso is appreciative of the striker’s selfless style, but calciomercato.com reports he’ll have to convince the Rossoneri over the next few moths or risk being sold in the summer.
