Bennacer had been a major doubt for today’s Serie A match, as he was in bed with a fever last night.
However, according to Sky Sport Italia and Calciomercato.com, Bennacer is feeling much better this afternoon and could even be in the starting XI.
If he is not risked by coach Stefano Pioli, then the most likely outcome is using Sandro Tonali, who otherwise is set to be rested in favour of Tommaso Pobega.
The Rossoneri are already expected to rest Rafael Leao and Olivier Giroud ahead of the Champions League showdown with Dinamo Zagreb.
Meanwhile, Mike Maignan, Davide Calabria, Alexis Saelemaekers and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are still out injured.
