“AC Milan returned to training at Milanello this afternoon after the players had yesterday off to rest. The group met for lunch at the sports centre before heading into the dressing room to get ready for the session. Full focus was on the Rossoneri's upcoming fixture v Crvena Zvezda in Belgrade on Thursday (18 February, 18:55 CET) in the Round of 32 in the Europa League,” the statement reads.
"The team was divided into two groups after the activation session in the gym. The eleven players who starting in La Spezia continued with their recovery work inside before heading outside for some aerobic exercises. The rest of the squad, meanwhile, warmed up with a series of athletic exercises and various themed rondos. The session continued with some technical drills, which were completed at maximum intensity.
