Milan are reportedly prepared to pay the €15m release clause for Stuttgart defender Ozan Kabak, but face competition from England.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the Rossoneri have stepped up their efforts to sign the 19-year-old Turkish talent and are now ready to activate the €15m clause in his VfB Stuttgart contract.

However, that doesn’t necessarily mean a move will go through, as he hasn’t yet agreed personal terms with Milan.

There are other offers for Kabak from clubs in the Premier League, who would probably guarantee higher wages.

He only joined Stuttgart from Galatasaray in January for €11m, but impressed with three goals in 15 Bundesliga games.
