Something changed between Rade Krunic and Milan in the summer and the club are ready to sell him to Fenerbahce in January.

The 30-year-old Bosnian midfielder was heavily linked with a move to the Turkish giants in the summer and he pushed to make the jump when talks began to stall. Fenerbahce ultimately failed to offer the right sum, leaving the player at Milan.

Krunic started the season well with Milan but has not looked his best in recent months and has started to slip down Stefano Pioli’s hierarchies at the club, making it increasingly likely that he’ll leave in the coming weeks.

As reported by Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, Milan will happily sell Krunic to Fenerbahce in January should a convincing enough offer arrive, freeing up space to sign a new reinforcement in the summer.

The club feel that a midfield made up of Ismael Bennacer, Tijjani Reijnders, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Yunus Musah, Yacine Adli and Tommaso Pobegais sufficient until the end of the term.

In the summer, Milan will try to snap up Schalke 04 talent Assane Ouédraogo, who has been identified as the preferred option following two years of scouting.
