According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Milan are close in on the signing of Liverpool striker Divock Origi who has reached an agreement in principle with the Rossoneri.

Origi is one of Milan’s targets to strengthen their attack in the summer and the 26-year-old seems as close as ever to reaching an agreement with the Serie A champions. His contract at Anfield expires in the summer, so Milan can sign him on a free at the end of the season.

As per Il Corriere dello Sport newspaper, the Rossoneri are finalising their offer for the Belgium international but have reached a verbal agreement over the striker’s salary at San Siro.

Origi will get circa €4m per season for four years, but the two parties have yet to agree on bonuses and agent fees. The deal is not finalised yet, but Milan are confident of reaching a final agreement in the next few weeks.

Despite interest from Premier League clubs, Origi is willing to move to Serie A to try a new experience after playing in England, Germany and France. He’d become Milan’s third signing from the Premier League in the Paolo Maldini after the acquisitions of Fikaoy Tomori and Olivier Giroud from Chelsea.

  1. Lol picture is actually awesome, what do you want him to be a model?? That’s a rare capture imo. You want some generic pic of him smiling or celebrating?? He looks fully into what he’s doing, so expressive it’s excellent!

My bigger problem is how non-italian Milan is becoming. Seems like we go foreign at every turn to save on tax dollars, it’s sad.
