Milan push for Arsenal’s Kiwior and look for Gabbia return

Milan are looking to resolve their injury crisis in January and are in constant contact with Arsenal for Jakub Kiwior, reports detail.

The Rossoneri have been plagued by various muscle and other injuries in recent months, leaving Stefano Pioli without a long list of players heading into their clash with Frosinone. The issue has forced the club to promote Primavera talents like Francesco Camarda and Jan-Carlo Simic.

The following players are currently unavailable for Milan: Marco Sportiello, Simon Kjaer, Malick Thiaw, Pierre Kalulu, Rafael Leao, Noah Okafor and Marco Pellegrino.

As reported by Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, Milan duo Geoffrey Moncada and Antonio D’Ottavio have been in close contact with Arsenal over the last few days as they work on a possible loan deal for Kiwior in January.

The Gunners seemingly aren’t convinced of a deal at this stage, but the Rossoneri will continue their efforts regardless.

Matteo Gabbia joined Villarreal on loan in the summer and has impressed across his seven appearances so far. Giorgio Furlani is keen to bring the defender back to Milan and has been in contact with the Spanish club to explore the idea.
