Milan hope to sell Ismael Bennacer to the Saudi Pro League and Yacine Adli to Qatar, which would allow them to go for Manu Koné of Borussia Monchengladbach.

It has been known for some time that the two players were on the market this summer and that Koné was their first choice once there was room in the midfield.

Bennacer and Adli not in Milan plans

According to Sky Sport Italia, the first steps in that domino effect are starting to happen, with several Saudi Pro League teams in talks with Bennacer.

The favourites could well be Al-Qadsiah FC, the same club that is on the verge of signing Paulo Dybala from Roma.

Adli might be a little more difficult to place, as he has rejected some Premier League proposals already, but the Qatar Stars League might be able to change his mind.

Once Bennacer is out, then the Rossoneri can go in for Koné, who is also of interest to fellow Serie A side Roma and has a price-tag of around €20m.
