Milan could propose an intriguing swap deal with Borussia Dortmund between Rafael Leao and Julian Brandt, who is also a target for Lazio.
According to Sport Mediaset, the Rossoneri are considering an exchange that would be roughly even, as both are valued at circa €25m.
Leao has been linked with Premier League clubs like Wolverhampton Wanderers, and remains on the market for the right price.
As for Brandt, he is an attacking midfielder who can also play in a wider role if necessary.
He joined Borussia Dortmund in 2019 from Bayer Leverkusen for €25m and is a German international with three goals in 35 senior caps.
Brandt has also been linked with Lazio this summer, but perhaps might be better suited to Stefano Pioli’s 4-2-3-1 formation.
Milan’s first choice was Nikola Vlasic, but CSKA Moscow are refusing to let the Croatian leave on loan with option to buy.
They are demanding the Rossoneri take him at most on loan with an obligation to buy at the end of the season.
