Italian reports claim that Milan have requested Turkey sensation Arda Guler from Real Madrid in a similar deal to the Brahim Diaz one.

The 19-year-old made a big impact at EURO 2024 for Vincenzo Montella’s side and at his tender age already has 12 senior caps, with two goals.

Real Madrid paid €20m to purchase Arda Guler from Fenerbahce in the summer of 2023 and he struggled to get into the team during his debut season.

Despite making only 12 competitive appearances for the club under Carlo Ancelotti, he still managed to contribute six goals.

Milan bid to give Arda Guler space

According to Sport Mediaset, Milan have approached Real Madrid and suggested they take Arda Guler for two years to help him develop, including playing in the Champions League.

Brahim Diaz was sent to the Rossoneri on loan for one year in 2020, then it was extended for another year at a cost of €3m.

While Milan had an option to buy, Real Madrid also had the counter-option to bring him back to base and exercised it in 2023.

In those three years, the Morocco international played 124 games for Milan, which he wouldn’t have got at the Bernabeu.

The interest in Arda Guler goes back to when he was still at Fenerbahce.
