Milan agave reportedly made progress in negotiations for three exciting potential new additions on Tuesday, namely RB Salzburg centre-back Strahinja Pavlovic, Tottenham full-back Emerson Royal and Udinese midfielder Lazar Samardzic.

Milan closing in on three new arrivals

Pavlovic is the closest player to reaching a final agreement with the Rossoneri, according to updates from Gianluca Di Marzio on Tuesday evening.

The Serbia international is reportedly only interested in joining Milan, and he has also turned down an approach from LaLiga giants Atletico Madrid. The club hope to finalise a deal in the region of €20m, though the Austrian outfit’s original asking price stood at €30m.

A deal with Tottenham for Emerson does not appear to be too much further behind, either.

Di Marzio adds that Milan hope to have deals for both Pavlovic and Emerson wrapped up within the next few days.

The Rossoneri have also recently entered discussions with Udinese for promising midfielder Samardzic, who had been close to joining rivals Inter in one of the biggest sagas of the Serie A transfer window last summer.

Paulo Fonseca and his recruitment team have reportedly been told that the price for Samardzic stands at €25m.
