Milan have set their sights on Lille’s Jonathan David and Real Sociedad’s Alexander Isak ahead of the summer transfer window.

The Rossoneri are planning ahead for the future, one which may see Zlatan Ibrahimovic leave in the summer, and they want to sign a top forward that both fits the project in the Milanese club and is suitable to Stefano Pioli’s game plan.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan have their eyes on three players in particular: Jonathan David, Alexander Isak and Club Brugge’s Noa Lang. The latter would cost around €25m whilst the former two would be worth closer to €40m.

Rumours from England have linked Isak with a move to Premier League side Arsenal, but Milan are also keen on the Swedish striker, should that deal not come off.

The Rossoneri are preparing to significantly invest in the squad in this summer’s transfer window, with reinforcements also expected to arrive in defence and midfield.

  1. Would be awesome but how much budget do Milan have for summer? Defender, midfielder, striker and another attacking midfielder/winger would cost over 100m at this rate.

I think Zlatan has done what he could for Milan. Time to thank him and say goodbye to him as a player.

  2. This story has a real “2015 Carlos Bacca and Luiz Adriano” vibe about it.

Milan‘s hopes pinned on two 2nd rate ‘strikers’

    ended in disaster that time.

  3. doesn’t matter how much Milan invest if they keep losing their best players on free, don’t play young prospect (or sell them a year later) or keep below average players like Krunic and lack of idea to sell not-needed players like Samu.
Its like moving a step forward and and take another 2 back later

  4. Jonathan David, Leao, Renato Sanches, Botman and Maignan. What is this? Milan becoming Lille 2? Milan should buy that entire club at this rate. Hilarious! As for a new striker Scamacca, or another tall striker would make sense. Belotti or Icardi would not be bad either.

  5. we’ll know thats gonna happen… to good to be true…
Just take Belotti dan a good playmaker, you cant put Krunic/Maldini for Calha’s spot

  6. @Milan fan

Indeed, poor Lille! We must not forget Adli either, think he will be a quality addition to the attacking midfield department. I really feel we need to strengthen the RW position though, Dybala would’ve been awesome.

  7. I have 2 questions. Where are the top strikers the headline mentions and who would score the goals if Milan signed any of those 3 players?
