Milan are working hard to try and sign Angelo Gabriel this month but are facing tough competition from the Premier League for the Santos winger.
The 18-year-old Brazilian is a product of the club’s youth system and was promoted to their first team two years ago, giving an exciting prospect the chance of the main stage. Angelo Gabriel has shown impressive signs since then, scoring three goals and providing nine assists across 97 appearances for Santos.
As reported by Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, Milan have prepared a €15m offer for Angelo Gabriel, a little below Santos’ €20m plus add-ons price tag. Further talks will be needed between the clubs if they want to iron out an agreement.
The Rossoneri cannot take too long, however, as various Premier League clubs are interested in picking up the Brazilian teenager, including the Saudi-backed Newcastle United. Updates are expected on this deal in the coming weeks.
