Milan are reportedly preparing to start contract renewal talks with midfielder Rade Krunic, keen to secure the Bosnian’s future.

The Rossoneri have been a little quiet in the summer transfer window, with their major arrivals being Charles De Ketelaere, Divock Origi and Yacine Adli. Where Milan have been active, however, is internally, working on tying down their stars to new deals. Fikayo Tomori and Tommaso Pobega both recently penned new contracts and more key players will receive offers soon.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport, one of the next names on Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara’s list is Krunic, whose current deal expires in 2024. Milan are starting to draw up a new contract for the 28-year-old Bosnian, who played a consistent role last season in the club’s successful Scudetto push.

New contracts will also be drawn up for both Ismael Bennacer and Rafael Leao, although these deals will be completed a little further down the line.

  1. @ Milan Fan A reminder that form can change overtime which is why it’s so silly rating players. He could be our Padoin – a fairly average utility player who has 5 Serie A titles to his name.

@ FT “The Rossoneri have been a little quiet in the summer transfer window”. Really? We’ve changed a quarter of our first team after winning the title.
