Milan are reportedly working on a two-year loan with option to buy for Real Madrid’s €50m-rated attacking midfielder Dani Ceballos.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Rossoneri would be unable to reach the €50m asking price for the Spain international.

However, they would consider taking him on an initial two-year loan, paying his €4m per season salary, with option to buy.

If the option were to be taken up, it’d be spread over several years in order to balance the books, with Financial Fair Play in mind.

The 22-year-old has played 56 times for Los Blancos since his arrival from Real Betis in 2017 for €16.5m, but most of those appearances were from the bench.

He vented his frustration this summer and said he didn’t want to play for Zinedine Zidane again.

Meanwhile, the Diavolo are working hard on identifying midfield reinforcements ahead of next season and are reportedly interested in Fiorentina’s Jordan Veretout, Sampdoria’s Dennis Praet and Lucas Torreira from Arsenal.
