Milan are reportedly looking to sign a new loan deal with Real Madrid attacker Brahim Diaz, but this time with an option to buy the Spain U21 international.

Brahim played 27 times in Serie A with the Rossoneri and the former Manchester City youngster reportedly wants to remain at San Siro in 2021-22.

MilanNews reports the club hope to renew the loan deal for another year, but are pushing to include an option to buy the attacking midfielder.

Real Madrid are, according to the outlet, willing to let the player stay at Milanello beyond this summer and are open to include an option to buy next year.

Brahim helped Milan qualify for the Champions League by finishing second in Serie A and his current loan deal expires this month.

He’s tied to a contract with Real Madrid until June 2025, but Milan are optimistic and have started the work to keep the 21-year-old for another year.

The forward contributed seven goals and four assists in 39 competitive games with the Diavolo in 2020-21.
