Milan are continuing to make moves ahead of the summer transfer window and they’ve opened talks with Maxence Caqueret’s entourage.
The 22-year-old Frenchman is an impressive and talented midfielder, confidently defending counter attacks whilst also being quick with both feet and mind. He’s quickly become an important player for Lyon, who are desperate to tie him down to a new deal.
As reported by RmcSport, Milan are keen to pick up Caqueret in the summer and they’ve started talks with his entourage. In the next few days they’re set to hold a meeting with Lyon to discuss the player’s future, lining up a possible move in the summer.
Caqueret’s contract expires with Lyon in 2023 and they’ve already offered to quadruple his salary in order to keep the talented midfielder. Whilst he’s happy in France, the prospect of playing in the Champions League with Milan is very tempting, especially as his childhood club seem set to miss out on Europe entirely.
