Milan held a meeting with the agents representing VfB Stuttgart’s Austria international striker Sasa Kalajdzic today.

The centre-forward turns 24 next month and is currently taking part in Euro 2020 with his country.

He has an impressive tally of three goals in eight senior caps for Austria.

Kalajdzic caught the Rossoneri’s attention this season by scoring 17 goals and providing six assists in 36 competitive appearances for VfB Stuttgart.

According to Sportitalia, Calciomercato.com and others, agent Giuseppe Bozzo was at the meeting in the Milan headquarters today, accompanied by representatives from agency Spocs

These are early days in the negotiations and it’s reported Milan were at this point just requesting information.

It comes after their increasing hesitancy to pay Chelsea any fee to release Olivier Giroud, who they had wanted to sign as a free agent.

Kalajdzic made the move from Admira Wacker to Stuttgart for €1.75m in the summer of 2019.
