Mauro Icardi relaunched his career with an impressive season on loan at Galatasaray and Milan have reportedly contacted Paris Saint-Germain to explore a possible move.

The 30-year-old Argentine netted 22 goals and provided seven assists in 24 Super Lig games for the Istanbul outfit, helping them win the league title for the first time in four years.

Icardi is now returning to the French capital, but seemingly has no future at PSG, who are now looking around for buyers for the striker.

SportMediaset reports that Milan have contacted PSG to start sounding out a move for Icardi, who has a €15-20m price tag. Whilst this is accessible for the Rossoneri, his €7m net per season wages could prove problematic.

A hint towards his intentions came from his wife and agent Wanda Nara on Instagram, who posted a photo in front of the Duomo di Milano along with an hourglass emoji.

Icardi knows Serie A well, having netted 124 goals in 219 appearances across all competitions for Inter.

  1. Agreed Igor.
Amazing the types of players that could be picked up via algorithms and the Billy Beane data methods. Didn’t know players on a free and 30 years or older hit that model.
    Bunch of muppets.
